As you might imagine, due to my happy circumstance of being paid to work as a “social media guru” I’m regularly consulted by businesses about social media strategy. The topic of audience building (not to be confused with “Audienz building”, if you’ll pardon the pun) almost always comes up, whether in discussions about how well audience building is going, and why, or how slowly it’s going, and why, or initiating a strategy tabula rasa for a new company or product launch.
